The London Borough of Richmond-Upon-Thames is a fantastic family friendly area, with so much going on at all times of the year. Easter is no different, here's our pick of how to keep the little ones entertained...

If you are anything like us, your children will have already broken up from school a week ago, and there's only so many times we can suggest heading to the park to let them burn off their excess egg-sitement and energy.
Luckily, living within the Richmond Borough, there is always something egg-cellent going on, with plenty of options to suit all ages. We thought that we would share a few of our favourites, and who knows - you may even see one of us there!
A little different to your average Easter Egg Hunt... an adventure around the egg-normous Marble Hill, involving hunting for clues, Easter games, and potentially a reward at the end...
If like us, your kids can't get enough of Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler's wonderful books, this could be the perfect event. Help Superworm and other heroes from the book on a new adventure, all against the magical backdrop of the Egg-straordinary gardens in Spring.
For the older children (or young spirited adults!), Hampton Court Funfair is crammed with family fun and white knuckle rides - back for its annual showpiece this Easter. Open Wednesday 5th through Monday 10th. With something for everyone from a gentle carousel to the egg-streme.
And of course, if the sun does magically arrive, you can always try a different park, the area has so many to offer!
However you choose to spend your Easter weekend we hope that it turns out Egg-sactly how you had hoped. If you have managed to get to Sunday without 'accidentally' opening an egg intended for someone else, we applaud you!
