According to data from industry experts, the market has slowed slightly. Which is the knock-on effect from the changes in the UK and global economy.

However, people are still moving. Tens of thousands of people, in fact. Why’s this? Let’s consider what we know about the human race and their need to move home:

• People relocate - for work or school purposes or other personal reasons.
• People have children and need more space.
• People no longer need huge family homes and opt to downsize.
• People marry, divorce, retire.

All of these instances can organically lead to a house move.

And there are still people moving just because they’d like to!
