Rightmove's annual Happy At Home Index has recently been released, where do you think the Richmond Borough ranked? đ€

The show is called "Location, Location, Location" for a reason... the biggest priority for every house-hunter should be where they want to live. After all you can change so much about a house to transform it to the home of your dreams, but picking it up and physically moving it to another neighbourhood is essentially inconceivable.
Whilst it comes as absolutely no surprise to us at Bartlett & Partners - Richmond, the borough that we call home has once again topped Rightmove's annual Happy at Home Index. The poll quizzes residents from across the country on numerous points on how they feel about where they live. They found that having a strong sense of belonging to your local area is the most important factor towards happiness. Living and working in the area we can completely attest to the community spirit, the warmth and friendliness of our neighbours, and how in every possible way it's an amazing place to live.
Although topping the list is an accolade that we can all be proud of, it's not just a one-time, chance win... this is actually the eight year in a row that we have come out as winners. Even though the world has changed a significant amount over this time, the neighbourhood has stood together through recent challenges and is sure to stand together going forward.
It's then no wonder that whenever we list a beautiful home for sale locally that we are swamped with enquiries. Not only locals, looking to move within the area, but from people in more Central London locations - looking for a better life balance, or from others moving in from further afield for the outstanding schools, fantastic transport links, or plethora of green spaces. Why wouldn't you want to live here?
The local property market is always evolving, responding to wider factors, but what is undeniable is that there aren't enough good quality homes to satisfy demand. The amount of properties on the market to buy remains frustratingly low. If you are looking to buy within the area, and want the 'heads-up' before we launch a property to the major websites - make sure that you have set up your search profile with us here, and let us give you that advantage!
