Placing your property on the market can trigger conflicting feelings, from excitement to fear. Our founder, Darren, has some reassuring advice if the whole process feels a little hard to deal with

As professionals who market and sell luxury properties all day, every day, we occasionally forget what a difficult decision selling a home can be.
Your home is the centre of your universe. It holds years of memories, happy and sad. It could be where you grew up, where you started a family or where you fell in love.
There is excitement, naturally, at the start of a new adventure. But you may also feel nostalgic, sentimental – sometimes even downright sad. All these emotions are perfectly normal.
You might be wondering where we’re going with this…
Well, the point is that as professional estate agents Kristian and myself are here to help, and I don’t just mean help you sell your home.
I sometimes joke with Kristian that we’re agony uncles first, estate agents second. Our clients are never afraid to share their hopes and fears when they’re selling their home. And we always listen.
When you’re embarking on such a delicate journey, the last thing you want is an estate agent forcing his pen into your hand trying to make you sign on the dotted line.
Just you and us.
We’ve been doing this job for more than 30 years between us and we’ve been happy to help people in all sorts of difficult situations. We’re considerate, confidential and we never pester you.
